Support>System was organized by Marco Rios and myself, Gina Osterloh at the Luckman Gallery, California State University, LA. I was very excited to help bring together three diverse art practices that utilize everyday materials, process, and happenstance. Artists were Ringo Bunoan (Philippines), Koki Tanaka (Japan), and Zhou Tao (China). For the exhibition I helped facilitate over 100 hundred pillows to add to Ringo Bunoan's project: The Wall, a 12 feet x 20 feet wall of pillows that originated from Manila, Philippines, San Francisco and Los Angeles, California. We are currently in the process of figuring out how to ship all of the pillows to Hong Kong for another manifestation of The Wall. Also included in the images below, is Ringo's piece "Twin Towers" a large scale photo banner that documents a ribbon that was tied around two iconic water towers in Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines.

For the Luckman Gallery at California State University, Los Angeles - we also were able to print an interview booklet for the show. The interviews are with curator Julio Cesar Morales & Koki Tanaka; myself & Ringo Bunoan; and Xiaoyu Weng with Zhou Tao. Xiaoyou Weng is an independent curator and writer based in San Francisco, and directs the Asian Contemporary Arts Consortium in San Francisco.
